What Every American
Should Know About Iraq -- CommonDreams.org. Simply, the United
States invaded Iraq. And now, mostly Iraqis are trying to protect their country
from the American invaders. I don't blame them! If you truly support U.S.
troops, your only choice is to urge our leaders to get the hell out of
Iraq.

Online since Nov. 1, 1997, Garbl's Writing Resources
Online features Web sites focusing on English grammar, concise
writing, word play, the writing process, style and usage, words, plain
language, action writing, creativity, reference sources and online writing
experts. You'll also find lists of Web sites on punctuation, overcoming
writer's block, avoiding bias, spelling and vocabulary, and writing for the
Web.
I can't endorse all the standards, guidelines and links on
Web sites in this free annotated directory. But I'm sure you will find many
sites that are useful, interesting and even fun. One of the "101 Best Web
Sites for Writers"--Writer's Digest in 2001 and 2000.
Please contact me to recommend a Web site that could fit in one
of the categories of Garbl's Writing Resources Online. It should provide a
substantial amount of free, useful information and advice about writing. I will
determine if the site meets my standards. No compensation or reciprocal link is
required, though I appreciate links to my sites.
Bush and Cheney manipulated intelligence
reports five years ago to justify their unprovoked, deadly invasion of Iraq. Fortunately,
wiser heads in U.S. intelligence agencies have now revealed the truth about Iran
and overruled, so far, the deceitful, criminal minds of the Bush
administration.
Welcome to everyone who opposes the corrupt
goals and actions of political extremists George W. Bush and Dick Cheney. We
must speak out strongly--and write clearly--about their foreign-policy failures
and trickle-down economics that make the rich even richer. This lying,
incompetent president and his dishonest, self-righteous vice president have
weakened the United States. Cheney, in particular, is an evil manipulator of
facts and people, intent on protecting the unearned and undeserved wealth and
power of the privileged few.
As a U.S. citizen, I am embarrassed for my country that
the failed Bush administration is continuing U.S. attacks on Iraqi
citizens. George first led an unprovoked attack on Iraq and now leads
the failed U.S. occupation of that sovereign nation. His incompetent leadership
has unleashed the civil war there. Say "No!" to George's
arrogance. Say "No!" to more war.
