Online since Nov. 1, 1997, Garbl's Writing Resources Online features Web sites focusing on English grammar, concise writing, word play, the writing process, style and usage, words, plain language, action writing, creativity, reference sources, and online writing experts. You'll also find lists of Web sites on punctuation, overcoming writer's block, avoiding bias, spelling and vocabulary, and writing for the Web. I can't endorse all the standards, guidelines and links on Web sites in this free annotated directory. But I'm sure you will find many sites that are useful, interesting and even fun. One of the "101 Best Web Sites for Writers"--Writer's Digest in 2001 and 2000. Although I may not respond, you may contact me to recommend a Web site that could fit in one of the categories of Garbl's Writing Resources Online. It should provide a substantial amount of free, useful information and advice about writing. I will determine if the site meets my standards.
